The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and I’ll ask a few background questions to better understand your story. You’re always welcome to ask questions, too. My goal is to make sure you feel comfortable and supported from the start.
What if I don’t know what to talk about?
That’s more common than you might think. Many clients come into therapy knowing how they feel, but not necessarily how to put it into words yet. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin — we simply start where you are.iption
How does online therapy work?
Online therapy takes place over secure video using a HIPAA-compliant platform. All you need is a quiet space, a solid internet connection, and a device with a camera. You’ll receive a private link before each session — no apps to download or tech hurdles to jump through.Many clients find virtual sessions just as effective as in-person therapy (and easier to fit into real life).
Do you offer in-person sessions?
At this time, I offer therapy exclusively online. This allows for greater flexibility and accessibility, whether you’re at home, in the office, or simply trying to fit support into a busy season of life.
