What's looked at during a Home Inspection?
All of our Resale Home Inspections come with WDI (termite) inspection, sprinkler system check, Zip Level Foundation measurements, thermal scanning of the inside walls and ceilings to check for leaks and insulation issues, and everything from the foundation to the roof, attic, electrical, plumbing, appliances, heating and cooling. We also check every plug, switch, door, and window throughout the home. We include all these items in our base price because we genuinely believe you need all of them f

Home Inspection costs are based on the age and size of the home, but could be anywhere in the $375-$500 range for our average cost. Pricing also depends on if you’re getting just the home inspection or if there are other things needed such as a pool/spa inspection, a sewer scope inspection or other ancillary services.
Do you check for mold?
As part of our comprehensive home inspection, if we see visible mold or a microbial growth substance we will document it with photos and test the area with a thermal camera and moisture meter. This helps us to determine if active moisture is present which is what mold needs to continue to grow. At this point, we would recommend remediation of the mold, and correction of the source of water that is occurring. We do recommend mold air testing if a person living in the home has sensitivities or all
