Do I need a referral or prescription before seeing you?
No you do not! How awesome is that. In Texas, you have “Direct Access” to receive physical therapy services. Which means you can be seen by a physical therapist right away without having to see anybody else first. However, Texas does require us to get an order for physical therapy after 2 weeks from our initial visit. We will work with you during this time to make getting the referral / prescription for physical therapy as easy as possible, without interrupting your ability to receive treatment.
Where are you located?
We are mobile, so no official address. We come directly to your home, place of work, or wherever works best for both you and our Doctor of Physical Therapy. We are based in Forney, TX and primarily service the neighboring areas, so if you are questioning whether we will come to you, just ask! We may be able to work something out.
Do you take insurance?
We do not contract with insurance companies. We greatly value our patients / clients, as well as our expertise as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Contracting with insurance will hinder Active Motion Physical Therapy in providing the best quality of care we can provide, as insurance companies can put unnecessary restrictions and red-tape around what we are allowed to do and the care we can deliver.
