Vizoryo MCP Connector

Vizoryo publishes the Global AI Business Visibility Index as an MCP server: an MCP-compatible agent calls tools that return structured business records, rather than fetching pages and parsing them. Same records as the public API, delivered as typed tool results with a stable entity key and a citation contract attached.

Protocol: Model Context Protocol, revision 2025-11-25. Transport: remote Streamable HTTP at https://www.vizoryo.com/mcp/v1 — one endpoint, identical for every caller. The client does not spawn a local process, and there is no package to install.

Index tools — read-only, behind a free account

Every call is authenticated. An MCP client that arrives unauthenticated is answered with 401 and the OAuth metadata it needs to start the flow itself: it sends the caller to Vizoryo to sign in, and comes back connected. A free Vizoryo account is the whole entry price — no plan, and nothing to copy or paste. Behind these tools sit the public, unauthenticated REST endpoints at https://www.vizoryo.com/api/index/*, so an agent that has not signed up still reads every record there over plain HTTP and gives up only the tool interface.

  • search_businesses — Find businesses in the Index by name, category, or city; returns ranked matches, each with a stable slug.
  • get_business_profile — Fetch one complete AI Identity by slug: identity, classification, services, location, contact, hours, Schema.org JSON-LD, the stable VizoryoProfileID, and per-field provenance.
  • cite_business — Fetch the citation contract for a business: a ready-to-use citation string, the stable VizoryoProfileID, the canonical URL, the record status, and per-field provenance.
  • resolve_business_by_url — Map business website URLs to their Index entries, up to 50 per call; returns the Index slug for each URL that matches, and omits the URLs that have no entry. Follow up with get_business_profile or cite_business for the record itself.
  • browse_businesses — List businesses filtered by category, city, and/or country, paginated; ordered by how completely each record is structured for AI systems to read.

Every record reports its own record_status — a record status (auto_indexed = compiled automatically from public data and confirmed by no one · community_confirmed = a signed-in person confirmed the details look right; not necessarily the owner · owner_claimed = the business owner claimed this record on a paid plan and maintains it; this is not an endorsement or an independent check by Vizoryo). Most of the Index is auto_indexed. Vizoryo does not independently verify a business — key business facts are cross-checked against multiple public sources, which are not necessarily independent of one another, and cross-checked is not the same as confirmed by the business.

How to connect

Add this address to an MCP client as a remote connector: https://www.vizoryo.com/mcp/v1. Nothing to install, no configuration file, and no version to keep up to date. The client sends you to Vizoryo to sign in and approve, and comes back connected to exactly what you approved — the read-only index tools always, plus one AI Identity if you own one, otherwise the account alone.

Owner connector — your own account and record

Any Vizoryo account reaches a second set of tools through the same address — connecting one needs an account and nothing more, and no paid plan is required to connect. The assistant runs the authorization flow itself: the owner signs in on Vizoryo and approves, and the connection is bound to exactly what was approved. An account with no business record gets an account-only connection, which runs that account's own AI visibility audits and reaches no business record at all. An account that owns a record also reads that one record. Nothing is copied or pasted, and no tool takes a business, slug, or id argument — the connection reads exactly one record and writes to that same record only.

These fields can be updated through it, on a record that has been claimed on a paid plan (Verified or Managed): certifications, opening hours, phone, contact methods, social profiles, languages spoken, service areas, street address, city. Writing the street address also updates the record's city and country to match it, so the address and the rest of the record can never disagree; a move to a different location clears the stored map coordinates rather than leaving a point at the old address.

Everything else is read-only through the connection: business name, website, industry, services, FAQ, description, record status, badge, any score. An attempt to change any of them is refused by the connector and by the API behind it. Updating trust-signal fields never raises record status either — a model may adjust facts a business owns about itself; it may never mint the assertion that anyone checked them.
