WHAT IF I AM A BEGINNER?
Seriously, no experience necessary. Our teachers are some of the most experienced in East Dallas, and they expect beginners in every class. You’ll always be offered modifications to make poses more accessible—or more challenging—based on your needs. Slower Flow is a great choice for first-timers, thanks to its gentler pace. WHAT DO I WEAR?
Comfort is key. Wear any type of athletic wear that allows you to move and stretch. No shoes needed—we practice barefoot.
DO I NEED A MAT AND/OR TOWEL?
Bring your own mat if you have one. We do have a few to borrow if needed. Many people like to bring a small towel, too. We provide blocks, blankets, and straps to support your practice. Don’t forget your water bottle, we have filtered water available for refills.
WHAT IS THE TEMPERATURE OF THE ROOM – IS THIS “HOT YOGA”?
Nope! We keep our East Dallas yoga studio around 76°F ambient temperature—warm enough to help muscles open up, but not hot yoga.Power Yoga may be heated to 80 depending on the instructors preference.Best of alll, through the power of our breath, we can heat up (or cool down) from the inside out through movement and breath.
CAN CHILDREN ATTEND?
We love seeing families interested in yoga! Kids age 13 and up are welcome to attend as long as they can respectfully participate in class and a parent or guardian signs the waiver on their behalf. Please check in with us if you’re unsure—our team is happy to help.
